Michael Thompson; Call for Photographers # 54
Our favorite show regular Michael Thompson is back discussing the second annual Photographic Competition and Exhibition. The inaugural event was a huge success and the call is officially out to submit your photos (do that HERE) The submissions are due Feb 29, 2016 and the cash prizes over $5,000. The man who has the hard job of picking the winners will be Stephen Perloff from Photo Review. The Photo Review is a critical journal of national scope and international readership. Dronesters: Featuring Brian Oxford and Andrew Hill
Andrew Hill and Brian Oxford of Dronesters join us on todays show. Brian and Andrew are a both freelance, graphic and website designers and have created an amazing ariel photography company using drones. Brian and Andrew are able to provide a different perspective in an easy to use platform that allows the client a quick view of what would otherwise be out of reach. Michael H. Thompson, Special Effects Photographer and Painter
Michael Thompson is a digital artist, photographer and painter. He has been exposed to art his entire life while growing up in Cumberland, MD. After graduating from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor’s of Art (Graphic Design) he moved out of the area and has returned with an appetite for creating fine art. Starting in 2011 Michael started to create pieces for local juried art shows. Subsequent to having a few years of luck in those shows and some encouragement, he decided to make his first series.
